With “Librarian 2025,” the dynamic of the series shifts once again. For the first time, the focus moves away from a single figure toward a direct interaction between two bodies.
The initial idea was to create a scene involving two women. The concept of representing different ethnicities became less relevant during the process, as the composition does not rely on facial features but rather on bodies, posture, and touch. Instead, I focused on visible contrasts: one heavily tattooed body and one that remains untouched, acting as a quieter counterpart.
The figures are not meant to exist separately. They intertwine through their positioning, their gestures, and the way they handle the books. Everything reads as a shared movement rather than two isolated elements. The book remains part of the visual language but no longer dominates—it becomes a connecting element between them.
The contrast between the bodies was central to me, not as a separation but as a link. Different surfaces, different marks, yet no rupture—only a space that exists through both.
For me, this piece marks another step in the evolution of the series, moving from symbolic clarity toward a more narrative layer, while still maintaining openness in interpretation.
