“Orchidea” is one of those works where I can still clearly feel where everything began. It was one of the first drawings I intentionally shared with the outside world, and at the same time one of the first pieces where I allowed myself to fully commit to the entire page and get completely absorbed in it.At that time, I started exploring materials more deeply, experimenting with blending tools and softer transitions. This opened up new ways to build depth and create surfaces that feel almost alive. Much of it was still experimental, but that uncertainty is exactly what gives the piece its energy. At first glance, the motif appears calm, almost classical. Yet there is already a tension within it that continues through many of my later works. The form of the flower is not accidental; it deliberately moves along the boundary between floral aesthetics and something more bodily. It is not about provocation, but about revealing what is already there if you take the time to look closely. For me, “Orchidea” is not a beginning in the sense of something unfinished, but rather a point of origin where many elements were already present, just not fully articulated yet. It is a piece where I started to trust my own visual language.
